dedicated agencies, and passionate volunteers willing to

Stop Aids
The mission of Stop AIds is to provide support services for HIV/AIDS
infected individuals, their families, friends, and loved
ones, and to provide HIV prevention education in the Greater
Cincinnati area through volunteers and a professional
staff.
Volunteers are needed to fulfill its mission to assist
people living with HIV/AIDS and to provide prevention
education to the entire community.
Volunteers assist us with direct client care, prevention
education, and many other administrative activities. Please

Interfaith Hospitality Network
of Greater Cincinnati
The mission of Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater
Cincinnati is to provide hospitality to homeless families
through accountable interfaith communities and to help
those families find and retain permanent housing.
We need volunteers for the following roles:

Lighthouse Youth Services
Lighthouse Youth Services is a comprehensive youth and
family services organization that provides a wide range
of programs including emergency shelter, residential treatment,
foster care, juvenile corrections, transitional living
services for older homeless youths, and in-home service
for families in crisis.
Lighthouse volunteers assist the staff of many programs
in helping clients to become more responsible, self sufficient,
or improve their quality of life.
Volunteers are asked to attend a training session prior
to volunteering for the agency. Once a volunteer is placed
with a program there is additional training given to each
volunteer. The amount of time and degree of training varies
from program to program. Due to the time committed towards
training the volunteers, we ask that volunteers commit
to a minimum of 60 hours over a 6 month period.
We need volunteers for the following roles:

Grace Place Catholic Worker House
Grace Place is a homelike transitional housing facility for
homeless women and their families. They live in a safe and
healthy family style environment. To maintain this home we
rely on a variety of volunteers to assist the live-in
volunteer staff.
Stability is important in a homelike situation, so we ask
that volunteers commit to a minimum of 4 hours per month.
We need volunteers for the following roles:
- House Assistant
- Furniture Handler
- Handy Person for Maintenance and Repairs
- Newsletter Assistant
- Gardener
