Many of the Coalition members have volunteer needs.
Working to end homelessness, and providing direct
services to those in need requires a Coalition of
dedicated agencies, and passionate volunteers willing to
give of their time. If you are interested in
volunteering for a member organization not listed here,
you may check the Member Page for a more complete list
of social service agencies.

Interfaith Hospitality Network
of Greater Cincinnati
The mission of Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater
Cincinnati is to provide hospitality to homeless families
through accountable interfaith communities and to help
those families find and retain permanent housing.
IHN will sponsor a Gift-Giving program for our IHN Families during the upcoming holiday season. These families are beginning to look forward to the holidays and we invite you, your friends, and other groups to share in the joy of shopping for and giving to our current and former IHN families. Here’s how to be a part of the program:
Contact Carole Donnelly at carole.donnelly@uc.edu no later than Monday, November 29, to let her know that you want to give gifts to an IHN family. Please also give a general idea of how many adults and children you’d like to have. You may sponsor more than one family.
We are also looking for volunteers this year to help with the program. Volunteers are needed to call the IHN families and talk to them about their needs. We will also need volunteers at the day center annex on Dec. 11 when some families will be picking up their gifts.
Lighthouse Youth Services
Lighthouse Youth Services is a comprehensive youth and
family services organization that provides a wide range
of programs including emergency shelter, residential treatment,
foster care, juvenile corrections, transitional living
services for older homeless youths, and in-home service
for families in crisis.
Lighthouse Happy Holidays Campaign
On any given day, Lighthouse serves up to 2,000 children, youth and families in need. Included in that number is an average of 200 homeless youth who receive Lighthouse services daily. Many of the youth and families we serve know only hand-me-downs. The holiday season provides us the opportunity to brighten their lives with something new.
How you can Help!

Grace Place Catholic Worker House
Grace Place is a homelike transitional housing facility for
homeless women and their families. They live in a safe and
healthy family style environment. To maintain this home we
rely on a variety of volunteers to assist the live-in
volunteer staff.
Stability is important in a homelike situation, so we ask
that volunteers commit to a minimum of 4 hours per month.
We need volunteers for the following roles:
- House Assistant
- Furniture Handler
- Handy Person for Maintenance and Repairs
- Newsletter Assistant
- Gardener
